The issue is it's super situational and hindering your power for a scenario that could never happen. And it takes up an exotic slot which could be spent on a primary (which are a lot better now with the red bar buff and heavy ammo drop rate buff) or a heavy (which generally do amazing for damage) or even just other special exotics like Arb.It's just fundamentally a bad design. It has NO perks so the default glaive feels more exotic, with impulse amplifier, frenzy and psychohack on my enigma it's the one that feels like an exotic weapon and that's not considering the suppression mod or void3.0. The gameplay loop to use the exotic perk is terrible.The patterns will drop but u need the classes to craft them. It took me around 30-40 runs of wellspring before I acquired the two additional glaive patterns. You can acquire patterns for different classes other than what you're using. I acquired my Warlock and Titan glaive patterns while playing my hunter.It literally says "The first exotic glaive is unlocked from Report: Reverse-Lure. Subsequent Exotic Glaives can be acquired from The Wellspring activity" in the description of each pattern. You can only get one exotic glaive from the quest, the others are super rare wellspring drops.

The Wellspring activity has 4 different daily craftable weapon that drop on a 4 day alternating attack/defend rotation. The rotation: Day 1: Attack - Auto Rifle Day 2: Defend - Grenade Launcher Day 3: Attack - Bow Day 4: Defend - Sniper Rifle. i wish the drops of deepsight resonance weps werent abysmal.

I played enough Wellspring back in the 1st season of Witchqueen to unlock all the legendary patterns. I have also done weekly Master Wellsprings until reaching Pinnacle cap in each season. And I still only have the one Exotic Glaive that I unlocked through the quest.
