Mine will (sort of) thaw in the garage before the next storm (forecast for tomorrow), but I will look forward to other posts - and possible solutions.

Be sure you are level side to side and use the crank on the right lift arm to do so. I adjust on a flat concrete deck, but level ground will do. Works fine. Ford TLB's is a tube fixed to the cylinder barrel. Rod slides in and out of tube. When upper end of rod is even with upper end of tube bucket is level. Works fine. The value of an indicator is that you can get the bucket adjusted to level while carrying it and going back to get another load.

These are to be set so as the hyd lift system runs in a certain PSI range when in float mode. If not set correctly it will require too much pressure to maintain header height , and your hyd system will overheat. It should be in the operators manual.
